Applause (AFCO 5248) is a moderate foaming alkaline general-purpose cleaner which contains silicates, phosphates, a glycol ether, and moderate foaming wetting agents. It has a wide application of uses. AFCO 5248 can be used for cleaning food processing equipment, floors, and painted surfaces. It can also be used for steam cleaning and truck washing. When used as directed, AFCO 5248 is safe to use on aluminum.
