Hyperclean Nitro (AFCO 5218) is a concentrated, low foaming product which is specifically designed for addition to basic caustic products for single step cleaning of evaporators, pasteurizers, and bottle washers. AFCO 5218 is a blend of water conditioning agents and surfactants which helps control water hardness, eliminates film and scale build-up on equipment, controls foam and improves wetting, rinsing, and soil penetration. Using AFCO 5218 as an additive with a caustic cleaner for one-step C.I.P. cleaning can reduce water consumption and the use of acid cleaners and will also result in reduced cleaning time and increased processing time.
