HyperClean Plus (AFCO 5230) is a low foaming, alkaline, chlorinated, liquid cleaner which is designed for the circulation, soak, and spray cleaning of dairy, beverage, and food processing equipment. Because it contains caustic potash, it rinses more easily than caustic soda-based products. AFCO 5230 has better hard water tolerance than regular chlorinated alkaline cleaners and will prevent the formation of hard water scale leaving equipment bright and shiny. Since it contains chelates, water conditioning agents, chlorine, and a surfactant, AFCO 5230 is considered a One-Step cleaner in most water conditions eliminating the need for a regular acid wash.
