Impact (AFCO 5306) is an alkaline cleaner which is especially effective for removing oils, waxes, and greases from processing equipment. It can be used for soak, spray, or C.I.P. cleaning in dairies, meat and poultry processing plants. AFCO 5306 is recommended for cleaning stainless steel prior to passivation with nitric acid and it does not contain any solvents. AFCO 5306, above 150°F/66°C is low foaming and can be used for circulation cleaning. At 60 to 120°F (16 to 49°C), it is moderate foaming and can be used for spray and soak cleaning.
