K-100 (AFCO 5226) is a caustic potash-based CIP cleaner designed specifically for the removal of soils found in dairies and food processing plants. AFCO 5226 contains a unique blend of chelating agents which make it especially effective in hard water. Because it contains caustic potash rather than caustic soda and because it contains a unique blend of chelating agents, AFCO 5226 rinses easily from surfaces and will reduce or eliminate any hardness or soil films left on the equipment.
