Micro-Soak LNP (AFCO 4460) is a non-metabisulfite membrane preservative designed for soak applications (temporary shutdown). This unique product avoids the disadvantages of metabisulfite powders - namely pungent odors of both product and diluted solutions, common product hardening problems, as well as the corrosion potential to system components. AFCO 4460 contains buffered organic acids, does not contain phosphates, and is the product of choice for non-phosphate membrane programs and it can be conveniently dispensed by automatic equipment for ease of handling and accurate control.
