PC Smart Foam Plus (AFCO 6649) is a multi-purpose conveyor maintenance product designed to be used on PET package conveyor lines. AFCO 6649 combines Smart Foam technology with peracetic acid. This combination brings plant operators the benefits of a high-performance PET lubricant combined with the recognized cleaning properties of peracetic acid. AFCO 6649 is designed to reduce or eliminate PET stress cracking precursors such as conveyor soils or lubricant make-up water alkalinity. By maintaining the conveyors in a cleaner condition, it allows plant operators to run their conveyors lines at their designed speeds. AFCO 6649 will reduce the time and chemicals required for post-production conveyor cleaning. AFCO 6649 contains effervescing agents, foam generators, and detergents and is ready to use “as is” with no need to add other compounds.
