Rail Magic (AFCO 5733) is a mineral oil-based lubricant designed for use on chains and rails in poultry and meat processing plants. Contains AW additives and EP additives, provides protection against corrosion and rust, and reduces chain tension. Because it reduces wear, corrosion, and drag, regular use will extend the life of equipment and motors. Unlike other lubricants which leave the rail dry and not lubricated after applying and rinsing with water, AFCO 5733 retains its lubricity after cleaning and rinsing with water so, a second application is usually not necessary. AFCO 5733 can be used by itself as a lubricant or it can be mixed with an alkaline cleaner and used for removing the black grease commonly encountered on chains and rails.
