Smart Track Basic (AFCO 5546) is a multi-purpose dry conveyor lubricant designed for use on plastic or stainless-steel conveyor belts. AFCO 5546 is designed to reduce or eliminate PET stress cracking precursors such as conveyor soils or lubricant make-up water alkalinity. By maintaining the conveyors in a cleaner condition, AFCO 5546 allows plant operators to run their conveyor lines at their designed speeds. AFCO 5546 will reduce the time and chemicals required for post-production conveyor cleaning. AFCO 5546 is usually applied dry (no water added) but can also be used watered added in certain situations with superior performance to traditional lubes. When applied dry it significantly reduces water usage and BOD to the plant wastewater effluent. AFCO 5546 has zero alkalinity.
