I am writing to certify that AFCO 9126, manufactured by AFCO, 550 Development Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201, complies with the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and any other applicable regulations pertaining to food additives and may be used for applications covered under 21 CFR 173.310 Boiler Water Treatment Additives.

All the ingredients used in AFCO 9126 are listed in 21 CFR 173.310.

AFCO 9126 is acceptable for use in dairies, meat and poultry processing plants, and other food processing plants as a boiler treatment product for treating boiler and steam lines where the steam produced may contact edible products and/or cooling systems where the treated water may not contact edible products (USDA G-6 rating compound).

When used according to instructions, AFCO 9126 will have no adverse effects on the food being processed.
