Emulsifier Base (AFCO 6708) is an economical sulfonate-based emulsifier package that is designed specifically to emulsify naphthenic oils. AFCO 6708 is a blend of sodium sulfonate with co-emulsifiers and coupling agents which provide excellent emulsification, outstanding corrosion inhibition, and lubricity. AFCO 6708 is designed to be blended with naphthenic oils to produce soluble oils. The balance of the soluble oil will contain naphthenic oil, EP additives, lubricity additives, and biocides. AFCO 6708 does not contain any chlorine, nitrites, phenols, or heavy metals.
