Foam Additive Q (AFCO 1232) is a special surfactant blend designed for use in steam cleaning. AFCO 1232 will work effectively with steam at temperatures above 200°F (93°C) when other products may decompose or become ineffective. AFCO 1232 does not contain any caustic, acids, solvents, phosphates, phenols, or nonylphenol ethoxylates. It is an effective, multipurpose cleaner-degreaser that is eco-friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic, non-abrasive, and not irritating to the skin. AFCO 1232 can also be used to boost the foaming properties of alkaline, acidic, and quat solutions. AFCO 1232 is compatible with most cleaning solutions including solutions containing cationic surfactants (quats).
