I am writing to certify that X-203 (AFCO 5370), made by AFCO, 800 Development Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201, complies with the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and any other applicable regulations.

AFCO 5370 is classified as a general cleaning agent for use on all surfaces, or for use with steam or mechanical cleaning devices in all departments of food processing plants. Food products and packaging materials must be removed from the area or carefully protected before using AFCO 5370. Surfaces washed with AFCO 5370 solutions, shall be thoroughly rinsed with potable water before processing is resumed.

AFCO 5370 is formulated to comply with FDA Title 21 CFR 110.35 and 117.35, Sanitary Operations. 

When used according to instructions, AFCO 5370 will have no effects on foods being processed.

I am writing to certify that RS 855 (AFCO 8514), manufactured by AFCO, 550 Development Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201, complies with the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act and any other applicable regulations.

AFCO 8514 is acceptable as a general cleaning agent on all surfaces, or with mechanical cleaning devices in all departments of official establishments operating under the Federal meat, poultry, shell egg grading, and egg product inspection programs. All food products and packaging materials must be removed from the room or carefully protected. Such compounds may be used as general duty foam cleaner designed to clean and remove highly soiled equipment and must be rinsed thoroughly with potable water.

When used according to instructions, AFCO 8514 will have no adverse effects on the foods being processed.

AFCO 8514 is free from undesirable microorganisms and is safe under the conditions of use.
