AFCO 0532 is a blend of food grade caustic soda and food grade caustic potash which meets the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) test requirements for food grade caustic soda and caustic potash. It can be used for food preparation in which food grade caustic is required. AFCO 0532 can also be used for cleaning equipment in milk and food processing plants, for neutralizing acids in process waters and waste waters, and as an alkalinity booster in boilers and in cooling water systems. AFCO 0532 is OMRI listed with Restrictions for use in compliance with the USDA National Organic Program carrying the following restrictions and/or caution statement: ➢ Must not be used in lye peeling of fruits and vegetables.
